What would be your ultimate App if you could develop one?

Hello all... so I've been wondering what would be the perfect app to use on the HTC EVO if you could develop your own application?

My ideal app for my EVO would be a T.V./Cable/Universal remote control. Is this even possible?

...If not, do they make a girlfriend remote that I can use on the EVO? LOL
 
Full UI output on the HDMI.

For your remote...there isn't IR out, so that might be tough. If you have an HTPC, there are a number of options.
 
I don't need it to be a full universal remote. I just want mine to act as a blu-ray remote for my PS3.
 
I want an app that can alter the bluetooth stack thing HTC sense messes up on the Evo so that I can pair a Wii-mote to my phone to play my emulators. I've become quite proficient with on-screen, but hardware buttons are ages better for games.
 
...so I've tried posting a couple times joking about the iphone4 vs evo cartoon floating around on youtube how I would like an app that can make an island...etc... and both times it has gotten deleted. Does that mean that the mods just don't get my sense of humor? or does it mean they think I am a "troll"? Maybe I'm just not as funny as I think I am <- probably the most likely.

Just curious and trying to understand how things work around here. Thanks.

Maybe it wouldn't have gotten deleted if I had suggested an app that could grant up to 3 wishes... even if 1 of those wishes was to receive an iphone4?

anyway Scorp, thanks for the support. Glad to hear somebody gets me.

But in all seriousness... I think it would be cool to have an app that would be linked to the golf courses in the area and could display what tee times were available for any given week and would then allow you to book a tee time through the app. I don't think its very feasible, though, because the cooperation that would be required from each course to pull it off.
 
How about an app for controlling Boxee, MythTV, or any number of multimedia apps so you can change the music from anywhere in your house over your Wifi?

EDIT: Looks like ROKU already has one. How cool is that?
 
Just one damn RSS/Podcast app that's full featured, stable, looks nice, has a usable UI and doesn't whine about half of the RSS links I give it.

I don't understand why all podcast apps, widgets, etc for all platforms have some massive blaring flaw that makes them painful to use.
 
An app to put music controls in the notification pull down bar. I'd be even happier if htc incorporated this into sense.
 
id like an app to make the bottom 4 buttons glow in cool formations when you recieve a text/other settable alerts. even just a plain glow like the pre would be nice.
 
I would honestly like an app for the rear or main 8 meg camera, that offers image stablization, allows you to control shutter speed, apeture, fstop, hyperfocal distance etc.
 
Something that plays cool visualizations on the screen while listening to mp3's. Kind of like Windows does when you play a song on your computer...all the scrolling colors and designs. That would be awesome!
 
I would like to create an app that uses the GPS and police reports to tell you when you are about to enter a "bad" area and gives you the option to find an alternate route. This would work driving or walking.
