Root Any pure stock android 2.2/2.3 rooms fornthe Inc?

If they are stable and completely stock Google experience, why would there need to be more than one for each?

It's not pure stock, but I use Redemption Rom 2.4 (froyo). It's very close to a stock experience (with improvements and greater capabilities). After running the fix permissions (from rom manager or recovery), no force closes.

I'm running cm7.0 and have zero issues and loving it. I also ran omgb when it first came out and never had an issue.
The only sense 2.2 roms I ran were virtuous and skyraider and both were very stable and customizable.
I also used the 2.2 version of MIUI which is awesome and is about 95% bug free but very stable. I personally found everything I needed worked.
The 2.3 version of MIUI is still kind of buggy.

I'd recommend cm7 over most roms right now though. Or I'd try the senseless version of skyraider.

Can you change the launcher to the stock one on cm7?

When I first saw stock, I was thinking "stock sense," as in, an unaltered shipped ROM.

I've tried CM, just can't leave Sense. If you want an unaltered Sense ROM (IE, stock, rooted, Verizon crap removed, stable), look at Nothing Special in this sub-forum. But, if you want the Vanilla look, but with more stability, take a look at SkyRaider Athena since you're having issues with CM. Athena is actually Sense-based, but with Sense removed. What you get is a vanilla appearance, but with the stability of the shipped framework.
