Woots! I just stumbled across this free Android app that's offering a discount on EA games: Download Applorer Gamebox

"Enjoy 50% off premium games like The Sims 3 & other EA games on Applorer Gamebox Android app. What's more, every download gives you a chance to WIN a Plants Vs Zombies figurine and other fantastic prizes!" - taken from their Facebook page.

I'm not buying anything from EA, they still havent updated support for older games so I'm not wasting anything else on them, even if there on offer.

I'm not buying anything from EA ever again. Bought the Sims 3 from the Google Market. Then they somehow went back after the fact and tied it to my carrier so even though I purchased it from the Market I can't put it on any of my other devices except the ones with VZW. BS. If I wanted an EA app that was tied to just my VZW device I'd have bought from the VZW store. EA is dead to me. Besides the site seems sketchy. I'm skeptical of fly by night sites that pop up with cheap/free versions of apps that normally sell for premium prices.

reading user comments on many of their apps, apparently they've done this type of stuff with a lot of their apps. it seems there have also been times when they've updated existing games for improivements but re-released it as new game instead of upgrade forcing users to buy the app again. i suspect it is incompetence in knowing how android market works rather than malice but it is shameful for such a big and well known gaming company to fail in this regard.
