I downloaded MX video player because default player sucks. ANyway play some good quality videos fullscreen, I MEAN NO ICONS, NO WIDESCREEN WITH BLACK BARS, the wholething . WOW
I know its a wasted thread but its just too mind blowing. like holy cow
mx player is awesome, have u tried a 1080p video yet using hardware mode? My droid x could only play 720p and that was pushing it, hoping the galaxy nexus can play 1080p smoothly.
Erm, why? The device only plays 720p, so it literally has to discard all of the extra information going into 1080p/downscale it to fit. No benefit.

There is not a lot of difference between 720p and 1080p when it comes to video quality to the naked eye on a screen as small as the Nexus. I have a 60" plasma and can't tell the difference between 720p and 1080p. No need for a 1080p video to be on the Nexus.

No argument on the actual nexus screen, but if you can't tell between a 1080p and 720p on a 60 inch then yeah we are always going to disagree on video quality.
Since MX player can play almost any format I just want to be able to drop videos on without converting and I have a decent amount of 1080p videos. Also for outputting to a television.
Aha, THAT makes perfect sense.
Does it output at 1080p?
maybe he's sitting about 100ft away haha
If you can tell, then you must have super vision because there is hardly any difference to the naked eye. Tons of reports out there as well that will back up my statement.
