File size limit for texting?Thought for smartphones much more?

I just took a 9 second video in 480p on my nexus, Wanted to text it to my friend. Its 6.xxmb and it says too big... really? my wife sent me a video that was 1 minute and 4 seconds from her iphone and it came thru just fine. what gives? We both have verizon.

I think the default file size limt is 1Gb. The length of the video is irrelevant, only the size matters.

I'm assuming you mean 1mb and if so, WHATTTT? thats ******ed. My wife sent me over 1 minute video, i'm sure it was over 1 mb

Well then has anyone figured out how to text message a video under the file size limit for the nexus?Lowest quality i find is 480p and like i said, 9 seconds was over 6mbs
ok well i just saw taht if you start a new text and select capture video, You can take a new video of up toa minute to send. Kinda blah with that and the quality super sucks
