It took a whole week, but I'm not FINALLY starting to get that killer battery life.

The first few days I was only getting about 12-15 hours, (Which was less than my Galaxy S2 with a stock 1850ma battery) I tried various settings and nothing helped, I was getting about 12-15 hours no matter what I did. My daily routine was charge to 100% at night, disconnect at like 3am, then by 7 or 8 pm I was just about dead.

Currently I'm at 35 hours and just hit 5%, it's about freakin time this thing lived up to expectations. I'm running the phone full blast too, 100% screen brightness, 4g all day, wi-fi all day, weather, Facebook, and Twitter widgets syncing all day, playing games, live wallpaper, and over 4 hours of on screen time... basically I haven't been holding anything back.

Moral of the story, as has been said many times, give your Maxx about a week to get in the groove and you should be happy.

You're making a good point about smart phone Lithium Ion batteries with this, hotstuff (great user name, too :D).

It's about charging cycles with these things. And the cycles don't even peak until we're at at least 50 or so, depending on daily usage of course.

So are you turning your phone off when you are charging? I just got mine yesterday (finally, after being "lost" for several days) and the little booklet said "It's important to fully charge the battery before turning on your smartphone". I was charging it while playing with it. Then I charged it overnight. Took it off charger around 6:00 this morning and was using backup pro and installing things alot today. It was about dead after 8 or 9 hours..

No I leave it on while I charge. Except for like day 2 or 3 when the phone died, I charged it with the phone off that day.

How did you take screen shots?

"No root screenshot it" app  It's a pay app, $5, but worth it to me since I like to take screen shots a lot

I noticed you had no media. Media shows up on my list and takes over 36%

"Media server" was towards the bottom of my list, it didn't show on my screen shot. It was only at 2%. Oddly enough though, the first 4-5 days with the phone, "media server" was at over 30-40% everyday. I have no idea what it even is. I heard it could be Netflix, but i don't even have it on my phone, so I dunno.

Ok so ill give it a frw days then to see what happens, i had Verizon replacw my phone once now a second time. Drops 20% in 6 min
