My NEW Galaxy Note 2 !!!!! what a disaster to get it....

I could not wait to go to the Verizon Store and get my hands on my new spanking white Galaxy Note 2 today!!!!

Well what a disaster it was to get it!

It took me 2 1/2 hours to get it done....long story short..i ordered the white GN2 and they scanned the silver GN2 after they took my money....I payed full price half with a DTBank gift card and half in cash....before i realised the mistake I destroyed the gift card (cut in half) don't ask me why :confused:

...in order to give me the white phone they had to credit back the gift card...scan the new white color but gift card could not be swiped! and Verizon does not take numbers from a card to make transaction...

I had to go to DT bank explained what happened, they were very nice, order me a new card (which I'll get in a week via mail). Had to go back to Verizon pay again (this time with my debit card)...the manager I must say was very nice and gave me a good discount for their mistake....


finally i walked out with my new phone .....pics below

honestly i thought i was gong to hate the stupid logo on the phone, but after a few minutes i don't care anymore...the phone is AMAZING

Eww I am so glad Sprint didn't plaster their logo all over the phone.. Really, Verizon? Even a logo on the home button?? Sprints Note II is nice and clean:

Sucks they didn't include a wired headset either.. Mine (Sprint) came with a really nice pair of headphones with a microphone and volume buttons.

Oh the humanity! :rolleyes:

Of the 20 people I showed my N2 to, not one recoiled in horror about the tiny logo on the home button. You guys obsessing about that tiny logo really crack me up!
At least with Verizon's excellent coverage I can use my phone. With Sprint I'd be at 1x rather than 4G with my Verizon. Heck I'm so happy with Verizon's amazing 4G I wish they made the logo bigger :p :rofl:

Saying hello from my perfect 4G connection here in northern California. Looks like I get the best of both worlds, which can't be said about you.

As long as you stay within 50ft of where you are, you may be right. But try taking a Sprint on the road then when you can't get reception go to Western Union and send me a telegram about how you like the coverage. :D

Not in the least!

I think it’s hilarious the big deal some are making about that tiny logo that 99.99% of people that see the phone most likely won’t even notice. Who the heck actually stares at the home button?

I had a sprint phone for work, and their reception was absolute garbage except in major metro areas and along the interstate. Of the carriers I’ve used Verizon wins hand down for reliable reception and fast data. You’re fortunate you happen to be in a good area for Sprint, and I’m happy you are liking your N2.
I don’t fault you for choosing Sprint, but for me if I switched to Sprint, it would render a great phone next to useless. Heck they doen't even have 4G here and 3G is spotty.


I'll take good reception and fast data over a tiny logo every time.
 
Just like to welcome you to the SGN2 family. Logo or not, you have one sweet phone, and that's what matters. =)

To tell you the truth I wish my button is contrasting the body color. Like a white or lighter color for titanium gray models and black or darker color on white body. Sometimes it's hard to see which way is up when you take it out of your pocket, specially in the dark. =)

I say this while typing on my logitech branded keyboard connected to my Dell branded laptop with an Intel sticker on it, wearing my Levi's branded jeans and Nike branded shoes. I'll now use my Logitech branded mouse to click send.

I'm quite happy with all of the above mentioned products and I'm happy with my Verizon branded N2.

But seriously...what's it to you? You don't even have a Verizon N2, and from what I'm reading here just about everybody that does have one doesn't mind the tiny logo. For me the tradeoff between a tiny logo that nobody notices and crappy service is a no-brainer.
 
Cant we all just agree that some dislike the logo and some dont. If someone doesn't like the logo they have the right to say they dont like it there. Others wont mind and they are just as entitled. Let's all just agree to disagree about the logo on the home button.
 
Im sorry if this was mentioned, when you say silver do you mean Titanium Grey or does Verizon have a silver also?

On a Sidenote I like the subtle AT&T logo on the back of mine.

the box on the device said SILVER but i think it was the Titanium Grey...

i got the Samsung Shell with kickstand $19.99 right there at the store...

fits perfect...feels comfortable in your hand...won't slip....i might buy another one.....need to check out amazon :)

I love the kick stand, it makes watching video's easy
