recently my wife's nexus stopped working on our home wifi. we have two wireless routers. when she tries to connect to the att router it says "temporarily avoiding connection low signal" or something like that. our other router will allow her to connect but she can't open her apps. but i can connect with my gs3. i wiped cache and it worked but she shouldn't have to do that all the time. any suggestions. stock rooted.

Go to settings>wifi>menu (3 vertical dots)>advanced and make sure that "Avoid Poor Connections" is unchecked.

the router doesnt need to be updated cuz i can connect on my phone

The router may still need to be rebooted. I've seen this on my home network where the Kindle Fire won't connect but my laptop will. Reboot the router and BOOM, everything works. :)

Hopefully this is just a reboot issue, and not something more difficult.

I've seen this sort of thing happen. Reset the router and modem. Also, configure your routers so that they aren't running on the same channel. I think most default to ch. 1 so if you change it to something else, you can get less interference. My bro in law showed me an app (no idea what it was called) that will scan all channels for interference and put mine on an unused channel. No issues with my wifi since doing that, and I have had that sort of thing happen that you're describing.
