Help No Flash support!!!!!!!

I've just bought a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 running on Jelly Bean 4.1.2 and discovered that Flash isn't supported. Is there a workaround to get Flash to play on this Tab?

Thanks

Welcome to the forums :)

Adobe stopped supporting mobile flash quite awhile back. The last version they made was for ICS. You can find all the archived flash player apks for android HERE.

I don't think it will work for you on jellybean but you can give it a shot. I have not heard of any workarounds but maybe someone else has a trick up their sleeve?

There are lots of threads on this here and on other forums with some workarounds shown. The most direct that I tried immediately is a great browser called Puffin Browser.

Check it out here in the Google Play store.

There is a free trial for you to test it. Works great for me and adds some really cool features like a virtual mouse...also is compliant with the Note 10.1 Multi-windows feature so you can have the standard browser in one window and Puffin in the other for a two screen experience.

Thank you for the welcome. :)

I use the BBC News website a lot and they have many videos to supliment their news stories but unfortunately i can no longer watch them. I used to be able to on my old Galaxy Tab 10.1 which was running on ICS.

So if your Tab is running on Jelly Bean you cannot watch any Flash videos!! :(

Flash is still supported by the native browser, you just need to install it. As mentioned earlier this has been discussed at length, even in this specific forum. I even hosted the apk on my dropbox.

Start searching.

Or get the trial of Puffin Browser from the Play Store....worked for me and I was a hard core Dolphin Browser fan.

Just to add there is an excellent BBC News app which works very nicely on the Note 10.1 :)
