Good morning folks!

Bringing my car for its annual tech check today. Please keep your fingers crossed?

:p Thanks daddy. I hate these check ups. There are always unexpected costs. Loving my car, and the freedom to go where and whenever I wanna go.

How are your kitties?

Sweet as ever. We have decided which to keep. I have named the blonde one that is so rebellious as "rebel". Being an ole miss rebel fan and all it makes sense. They all have their eyes open and are hissing up a storm at the presence of people. We are working on that. :D

Placing them in a busy environment like the living and picking them up regularly will help.
Anyways... don't let them grow up to be this grumpy...

Well, so much for the supposed backlash against the Galaxy S4 and its "inferior build quality".

Samsung Galaxy S4 sales top 6 million

It seems like all of these writers only give credit for the success Samsung has had with the S3 and S4 to marketing. Sure, marketing helps, but at this point anyone interested has had the chance to play with at least the S3. I would assume at least one or two people actually like the phones.

Good morning! ...

My car is in the shop, something is wrong with it when I hit the gas.... it won't go! So, driving hubbies car, while bending over awaiting the the "it will cost you..... "call . It will be 90 today yikes! Anyway, I'm running out to sell a kid to pay for my car.... see y'all soon!

I love tiny European cars. :)
Ours is pretty small too for an American (well, bought in the US anyway) car. Great for the city. Small, super easy to parallel park, decent gas mileage and interesting storage capabilities.

Honestly, I'm looking at finally getting a scooter. We're moving the bakery portion of the restaurant off site and it's a hike away. And, I'll be working earlier, before buses run. Biking is an option, but not sure I want to do it. Scooters are really popular in DC too, just looking to find one I can afford and like.

Cute "car", Kaat. :p What did they find wrong with yours?

The right ball joint, rear breaks, break fluids, and oh of course... the wipers. They're replacing my set of winterwheels for the summer set and an overall change of oils, fluids and filters.

And Bread: that is more of a car :) This lent of mine has no power...

That article confused me, it sounds like the S4 beat the S3 sales figures yet iirc the S3 had 10 million in pre-orders? Or was it 10 million in the first 3 months? I forget.

"Samsung officially unveiled its latest handset on April 26 and had supplied 4 million units worldwide within five days. In contrast, it took 85 days for the company to shift 3 million of its S1 handsets, 55 days to do the same for the S2, and 21 days for the S3.

"As of Friday, we have sold more than 6 million units, and we predict that we could break the 10-million mark by as early as the end of this month," the company said."

So this is really based off of shipping (orders fulfilled).

Anyone else given Google Music All Access a shot? I just signed up to check it out (30 days free and an intro price of $8/month afterwards).
Wife and I are longtime Rhapsody users (before Napster, then Rhapsody bought it). Just don't see the point in buying music anymore.
Selection seems good so far. Rhapsody is quite deep in what they offer but a bit pricier ($15/month). Has the same restriction of one device at a time, which is fine. May be signing up for this one after the trial. :)

If I didn't have SiriusXM in my car I would be all over it. I just don't see the point of paying for both SiriusXM ( in car & app ) & Google Music. But a great deal none the less.

Morning folks!
Hey, Jmar, which Chromebook did you get? Forgot to ask last night.
The Samsung 3 Series, the one available on Google Play. Bought it at Best Buy for me. It's pretty sweet!

I have a kid you can sell if you need extra money... just saying :D

Forgot how much fun it is to work on my bikes. :)

Getting lights and new tubes on it. Would rather ride my fixie to work than my other bike.

Also, heard from the lady they already want to get me on some events! Starting tomorrow at a wedding. I'd be working pantry in the kitchen but making bank. Only thing is I'd likely leave around 10pm+ and have to be at work Sunday morning at 4:30am! Fun times. But, I'm getting a little stir crazy by not working enough (yeah, and that whole money thing ;)).

You talking about the kind of bike you have to peddle ? i like my bike i dont have to peddle... today is bike to work day and the only way i'm doing that is on my bike with a 600cc engine in it but they say that doesn't count :D
