Have you seen the movie A Clockwork Orange by Stanley Kubrick or read the book from the 60s mate?
I chose the avatar half because i love the book and half because of Clockwork Mod custom recovery... see what i did there lol

All good bro. I got that screen lag situation figured out on my new toy so I'm a lot happier now.

Watching the show Castle. A good friend of mines father had surgery today to remove cancerous nodules so its been a stressful day.

Yep. I knew that is what the problem was, but for some reason they ( Samsung ) decided to hide the Dev options on the S4. So a Google search brought me to a thread here on AF & the problem is now solved.:thumbup:

You got it. When I watched the YouTube video that explained how to do it, I was like WTF ?, this is crazy, but yeah it worked. The settings are all crazy on the S4, everything is just all over the place. Going to the Note 2 from my S3 was easy, but the S4 is like learning a whole new system/UI/ phone or whatever you want to call it

Yeah and if its anything like 4.2.2 on s3, the memory works a bit differently. Even now that ive restored a nandroid from 4.1.2, the memory has stayed changed.
I dont like the settings menu with the pointles tabs.. whats wrong with just scrolling down lol
Is the s4 menu the same?

Before where you would just scroll down to find stuff, you have to guess whether its in Connections, My Device, or More. Very confusing. What you would think is in one place is in the other :banghead:

I actualy played with 4.2.2 for like 30mins then decided it was laggy but i only found out where dev options were once id got rid of it. Do you find typing a bit laggy? I did and i dont think anythin in dev options would affect that. It might just be because im usualy running overclocked and theres no 4.2.2 custom kernels for the s3 yet...

Yeah, the typing is a little laggy, but not to bad even after the dev option fix. I can live w/ that, the screen lag I could not. It was only bad here on AF which is weird, but yeah glad its over

So hows the display? Im a total AMOLED lover till i die but my eyes are pretty shitty so im not sure if i could tell the difference between 720 and 1080. Ive had a quick look at it in a shop but only the homescreen, can you tell when watching a HD vid that its higher resolution than the s3? What about brightness?
