Total reboot. It's a challenge but is best for my Wife and kid. My Wife and I both want her home so we can have another baby. One of the reasons I left my last career.

What camera do you have? Been thinking about getting a more appropriate camera. Sure my phone's camera has cloud syncing and is easy to point and shoot, but I want to take more amazing photos.

About 7 years ago I quit my job, went back to school, and changed fields. Best of luck!! I know how stressful it can be.

I decided this spring that I wanted to get more serious about taking photos so I got a nikon d7100. A little bit more camera than I probably need but with the amount of hikes I do I wanted something with weather sealing. I'm really happy with the shots I am getting so far and should only improve as I learn more about the camera and technique.

I'm looking to add a telephoto lens (70-300?) this summer. I dont really like the shot of the moose I posted yesterday. It was a bit out of the reach of the lens I have and didn't turn out as sharp as I wanted.

I went to college again aged 34 in a class of mostly 16-20 year olds, high school leavers and wow.. i learned a lot more than what the course was about.. i learned that im NOT a teenager anymore lol no matter how i kid myself..

I was 31 when I went back.... and attacked it with an adult perspective (not on mommy and daddies dime). Served me well. I've done quite well with the degree I got and a lot of the kids that were classmates are in different careers or waiting tables.

Yeah totaly Trent.. like, im not the most stand-up mature responsible forward-thinkin dude on the planet but it did feel kinda good when i did go back to college as an "adult" and i didnt have the stupid cripling things on my mind like other peoples opinion of me like we have as a teen (much) and actually didnt feel embaressed to be intelligent etc... all the time though (maybe i hadnt/havent truly matured) in the back of my mind, i couldnt help remembering beeng me as a teen and what id have thought about 34yr old me if he was in my class lol :)

Weird thing is, two of those youngsters i met there are close friends now 3yrs later lol. Think thats the beauty of adulthood, you really do pick and choose your friends

That's a big quilt. Nothing like having a piece of home to keep you company while away, even more special is something homemade.

Yes, but he can't take it, it's to big. It will stay here for his return to the states. I'm making him some pillow cases to take, much smaller and less expensive.

Gorgeous quilt K'lin!

Morning all!! I've been dog sitting this weekend and my brother's Keurig died this morning  so I had to go really old school and use a pan to make cowboy coffee. What a pain!!!! But I now have my caffeine fix so it'll be ok. And before you ask why I didn't go buy coffee I'll tell you :) - its because 3 times a year his house is a nightmare to leave as they stage the parade groups on the next block!! I'm essentially trapped until about 1 or 2 when it clears out because I forgot to move my car.
Hope everyone is enjoying the day, or planning to!
