GN3 is great but....

No problems with the phone now that I have solved the WiFi problem. It's great.

1. One reason I went for the GN3 was that I have a GN 10.1. I wanted to have both my devices under the Samsung paradigm so it would be easier to go from one to the other. But NO: Physical buttons instead of virtual ones...
Swipe down from the top instead of the bottom... and a host of other differences.
Why can't these folks settle down? I'm getting old, change every two years is a bitch...

2. Always a two day project to migrate from old phone to new. Happily I'm retired now so my employer didn't have me sitting at my desk working on my phone setup.
It's easier now (more apps sync), but it is still a pain.

The GN3 is so good that I can't imagine what 'must have' features can come out in two years that I am 'forced' to upgrade. At least that's what I told my wife!

To my knowledge, most if not all Android tablets have software buttons instead of hardware, like my Galaxy Tab 2 7.0.

Its notification panel went from the bottom to the top in a 4.1 upgrade. If yours is still at the bottom, it may only be a matter of time.

My sentiments exactly Jon. My prediction for the next big thing that would mean I absolutely "have" to upgrade is 128GB on board storage with a micro sd card slot of course. :thumb:

When the 128 GB on board memory comes out you won't able to buy it in the U.S. !
:)

My new Note 3 is so ideal, so fast and stable, I'm almost afraid to say anything in case such a positive post might jinx it... LOL.

The enjoyment of using SWYPE on such a spacious beautiful screen is pure Nerdvana...

For my needs, preferences and workflow, this Galaxy is so close to perfect it's scary :eek:

Oh and using swype with the pen is almost as fast as dictating. I LOVE THIS PHONE.
::: sorry for shouting :::

Can I ask how you solved the WiFi problem?
