Root [MetroPCS] Trouble Rooting Lg Optimus F6

Hi everyone,
I am and have been trying to root my LG Optimus F6 and I SIMPY CANT! Ive tried almost all the different methods googleable to root my phone and still nothing. Ive gotten both the error 126 and su binary not found messages already am about done trying.I am beyond frustrated by now as you can tell but if one of you amazing people can help me root my phone and save me the trouble of having to return it I'd be really grateful. I've tried this method mention on a previous thread but when I go to download MS50010i_00.kdz either it wont download at all or downloads broken and the file wont open (and yes I've already downloaded the fileopener app and still nothing).

Help someone please! The internal memory to this phone really sucks!

I just checked the link for the MS50010i_00.kdz and it downloads just fine for me. Also it seems that some of the people having the error 126 are on 32bit windows. The kdz tool seems to work best on 64bit windows preferably Win 7 or 8.

Someone said they were able to fix the error 126 by repairing their .net framework. Here's that post with their instructions...

Edit:
I ran into this issue almost 2 years ago and I fixed it by updating the .net framework.
 
never give up on rooting a phone if we can do it you can too if you still require a bit of help we are simply glad to help since we have android in our blood

what browser were you trying to download the .kdz in
and are you running linux or windows or mac
 
GameTheory: thanks for your response and i am on windows 7 64 bit, tried repairing the Microsoft net thing and still the file .kdz wont open. =( and if i cant download this file im not sure this method is going to work for me. Thanks again

there is two links you can try i've tried both and they both work for me and im using the same browser so i don't see the problem afterwards you just kdz back to the firmware of your choice and use [saferoot] which i think roots all but firmware 12B just have to make sure to backup your root with [Voodoo OTA Rootkeeper] which you can get in the [Play Store] then basically ota update then restore root with ota rootkeeper
