Will any other carrier get a 3G only EVO like device?

Come in and speculate! Will T-Mobile,VZW or any other carriers get an EVO like device? :D I have one rule and one rule only. If you think someone is a tool or troll or whatever don't flame them publicly in here! I DO NOT WANT THS THREAD TO GET LOCKED!!! :D
 
Doubt it. The closest thing is the Incredible and that pales in comparison. The HD2 is the next runner up but it's got a failure of an OS.
 
VZW has the Increidble, which is very much like the EVO...and technology improves by the day, so yea...they will. In 6 months the EVO will be out-matched by whatever new device comes out. Just the way it goes.
 
Well VZW is attempting to pit the LG Ally(1GHz Snapdragon w/3.5 inch WVGA AMOLED display along with a 5 megapixel camera and slide out QWERTY keyboard), with that annoying Iron Man 2 tie-in commercial, as possible competition against the Evo, along with the Incredible.

rumors are flyings lg phone could be the ally as well or something simlar really wish we knew what it was
 
the lg that is gettin released is not the ally, i dont remember what the name was but the processer was only at 600mhz

oh rumors flying around says it was gonna be the aloha if not the aloha not worth oh well back to wanting the evo or the samsung Galaxy S
 
There's also rumors of T-mobile getting a brand new Android phone, probably not the same big screen, but I believe the majority of Android phones in the future will try to follow in the footsteps of the EVO.
 
For larger screen android devices there will likely be the Motorola Shadow and Samsung Galaxy Series this summer sometime. The shadow looks like a CDMA (Verizon) Device and the Samsung is GSM (TMo or ATT). All of these are semi-comparable to the EVO with 4"+ screens and faster processors though neither of them are 100% of what the EVO is (Front Facing Camera, 8MP camera, 720P video, 4G)

I think that last sentence says it all.

the moto device has a keyboard so there should be no comparison.
 
What I am really wondering is will HTC do what they are famous for and reinvent the EVO for a strictly 3G network?
