Help How do you downgrade from 4.4.2 to 4.2.2?

I have a samsung galaxy core LTE, and my phone will not root. It currently runs Android 4.4.2 and an expert has told me that as long as I downgrade to 4.2.2, then the phone will be able to be rooted. This is a difficult process though, and only people that know what they're doing should even attempt this.. I have no knowledge of rooting/downgrading.. What should I do here?

I don't think you can downgrade Samsung phones to below 4.3 tbh mate since Samsung introduced knox security. It bricks the phone.
That's how it was with the galaxy s3 anyway

Doesn't look like there's one for the LTE specifically...and not much root info for the other variants, either.

Have you tried towelroot or framaroot?
