Android Question

I have hidden photos on my quick pic I can not get to come up. I reset my phone and not I cant get them to com up.

Can you see them with a file browser? Or has QuickPic done something odd to them in order to hide them?

That's only speculation, so the key thing is to use a file browser and see whether the images are still where they were originally. If they are then it's just a QuickPic problem, and we can look at that. If they have been moved the question will be where to - set your file browser to show hidden files and folders and see whether you can locate them. One way to hide images would be to move them to a hidden folder, perhaps with a .nomedia file to stop other gallery apps showing them. A nasty one would be to make them part of the app's internal data: then nothing else could see them and they'd be deleted by a reset. Hope they haven't done something as stupid as that.

I can't test what it does to hide images myself because my version doesn't have a "hide" option. I have an old copy from before Cheetah Mobile bought the app, and will not update because Cheetah Mobile are data miners who steal your data in order to make money from it (sell to spammers and scammers) and I regard anything coming from Cheetah Mobile as malware.
