G2 update t-mobile uk

did anyone else get the text message from t-mobile today saying there is an update for the G2.

At the moment of writing its hard to get on that part of the site, but did see a page with a G2 update on it.

Hey I received that text message aswell but it looks like T-Mobile jumped the gun on this one as it is just a 1.5 update to the G2 Touch

I was really excited when I received this message but its just T-Mobile trying to play tricks into thinking we are stupid and make us install the old Rom update

No it's just a reminder. They've waited a bit before announcing it I suppose but yes, it'll just be the 2.73 update.

Wasn't this the update that fixed the lag problem. Orange had that ages ago and i already rooted mine to get the HTC update Rom.

Yes indeed at was. I've been using it ever sice T-Mobile released it about 3 weeks after the generic HTC update.
