So im still on EMC2. since moving home a couple weeks ago my data speeds (3 UK) have plummeted.
Would changing modem (possibly) help?
And does anyone have a link to an up to date list of flashable modem zips?
Cheers
So the rom im trying has the option to turn off capacitive button backlights missing so is there a fairly simple (altering system files etc) root way i could disable them?
Cheers
(I know its a root question but id guess it applies across all the s3 variants)
I remember it wasnt because its kernel didnt have the SDS fix so i started using Philz but Philz doesnt seem to have been updated for a while and isnt good at restoring backups of 4.3 roms. CWM has been updated to fix that.
Im not much of an XDA fan so has anyone heard if Philz is gona get...
^this lol. Im that busy "flashing the latest rom" and pointless stuff like that that ive never asked this and its annoyed me since day one of getting the phone. It happened with stock music player and Poweramp, with official samsung firmware and without. I bet this is such a simple thing but how...
My wife might be getting a used Ray.
Just wondering how healthy the dev scene for it is?
Also whats the stock firmware like.. is it pretty close to stock android?
Cheers
I dont even use it
Ive never noticed it causing wakelock before.
Note that thats only after about 5% discharge. I dont really wana freeze it incase i need it. Should i "greenify" it or would that stop notifications i take it?
Hey im asking this for a buddy on G+. Hes on Verizon running PA and just bought a 64gb card but cant get it to mount. Someone suggested he flash back to TW, format it, then go back to PA but that didnt work.
Any tips?
Thanks peeps
Im gona try some roms tonight, pure AOKP has became unusable (UPDATE it wasnt AOKP's fault, the rom is fine, it was my choice of kernel that was wrong)
Ive been hanging around on a G+ s3 community and Illusion is recommended. Anyone tried it (or can anyone "sell" another non-TW rom to me lol)...
Think thats been a couple of months now ive been on aokp and things are starting to lag a lot and need a reboot to fix, maybe 1-2 times a day. Its like when you use an old laptop and do things too fast and everything freezes up while you wait for it to catch up with you.
I have like 4gb internal...
EDIT:::: please fast forward to Rxperts post here http://androidforums.com/showthread.php?p=5959832 instead and disregard the below  :) lol im a doofus sometimes :D

*dont try this at home lol*
Whats it for?
I played with it and it threw me into a bootloop!
Ive been lazy with my backups so thought id have to restore a nandroid from weeks ago lol.
Luckily Safe Mode saved me :)
Is there a known issue with this? I cant imagine how an app would affect something like this but i always get the "pending" when tryin to upload a vid and the only variable i can think of is me losing TW
Cheers
Can anyone help me understand how this works...
So on a brand new s3, of the 16GB internal sd, like 11GB of that is available and i get that thats memory taken up by the OS.
So when we use a aokp/aosp much smaller OS, why do we not get more internal user/available storage?
Is there some kind of...
So when the screen gets close to its timeout, it goes darker for a set time before actualy turning the screen off.
Is there any way to get rid of that step where it fades?
Reason im asking is ive started using the "touch to wake" function (i dont even use a lockscreen) and ive set the screen...
Just started messing around with a cpu monitor app and noticed core2 stopped so i set my governor to "performance" (constant max frequency to test it and all the cores show 1.7GHz but core 2 is stopped. Could this be a problem brewing?
