    Root Install update.zip via fastboot?

    Hi, Can I install an update.zip for a samsung phone using fastboot. the update.zip is to root the phone and normally I'd install it through the recovery menu using the 'Install from .zip' option. I would like to do it without needing an sd card. Thanks
