    Help Problem with system updates?

    Whenever it says there's an update I press install and a message says it will restart the phone in 10 seconds...well my phone doesn't turn off everytime I try to update it so I would assume my phone isn't being updated. Suggestions?

    I tried rooting my phone and I think I did it unsuccesfully even though I had super user privilages.
