In recent days, I have noticed that when I plug in my charger, (in the house, in the car) my battery is not taking a charge. The only way it will charge is if I restart the phone. Upon rebooting, it charges.
This is not happening every single time (less than 50%), but it doesn't make sense...
So, about a month ago, my phone was getting so hot. I brought it to Best Buy and they replaced it. Now, the other day, I was downloading a game (over 1 GB) and I was only on a data connection (on vacation) and I took a nap. When I awoke, the phone hit more than 152 degrees!!! I didn't think this...
I recently had my phone replaced because it was overheating (over 120 degrees), and the screen was also messing up, etc. Anyway, I got the phone replaced and I have found that the phone is getting hot. It is typically above 100 degrees during the day. I have found that it gets hotter while not...
Yesterday, I decided to take my battery out and later removed my SIM Card and battery.
Anyway, after replacing everything I have found my phone overheating a lot. What is going on?
I restarted a number of times as well.
Yesterday, my phone turned off while charging. I couldn't turn it on...
My phone got the 4.0.4 update at exactly 12:00am. The whole process took 10 minutes.
I live in New York.
However, as had been happening to me previously, my phone had been ghost dialing *22899 and had updated the PRL.
Now, right after the update, it ghost dialed, my PRL is still at 15119.
So, I am getting sick of running my stock phone and I am ready for 4.0.4 - but I have questions.
So, I have some questions. What is rooting? What is a ROM?
What are my risks?
Will all of my applications work?
Can I still use Go Launcher?
What are the benefits/risks?
Verizon Galaxy Nexus 4.0.4 update available for download now
We reported a rumor on Monday that Verizon was preparing a long, long overdue Android 4.0.4 update for the Galaxy Nexus, which has been officially stuck on 4.0.2 since it
Well, I finally got my phone's PRL to revert back to 15xxx from PRL 52686. Hopefully, this will stop the ghost dialing. But, I'm really not gonna take much of a chance. I am going to leave my phone in Airplane Mode at night. The other night, I lost about 5% of battery life in 8 hours of the...
Verizon To Blame For Lack of Galaxy Nexus Update?
(To Get All of Your Galaxy Nexus News - Check Out My Signature For Facebook & Twitter Links.)
Samsung Galaxy Nexus owners on Verizon have been waiting for nearly five months for an update to their Nexus smartphone, an unheard of length for a...
I came up with a good idea that may revert the PRL back to 15109. Do you think this will work? What if I factory reset my phone with the SIM Card in the phone. Then, remove the SIM Card and factory reset it again. Then, replace the SIM Card and start the phone up? Would that revert the PRL?
So, my phone had been ghost dialing the *22899 every morning, and draining my battery life like crazy.
So, I disabled JuiceDefender. No luck. I uninstalled JuiceDefender, no luck. It still called *22899 the following day.
So, I factory reset the phone and started all over again...
Can someone please help me with creating a custom backgrounds?
I made a custom background that is 1280 x 720 and when I apply it, it keeps shrinking down, but not right away.
Why does this happen and how can I make a custom background that doesn't change its size?
So, not too long ago, my phone was ghost dialing the *22899 number and it updated my PRL. Anyway, ever since then, I have been having problems.
I have noticed that my phone never has a green signal strength. How can that be? I live on Long Island (like 45 minutes from New York City) and I...
So, my battery has really been pretty crappy for a few weeks now (much worse than before).
It all happened right after my phone had ghost dialed *22899 and updated my phone’s PRL.
Now, my phone’s battery is pretty decent, so long as I am connected to the Google Servers (my...
[COLOR=#002060]So, as many of you know, my battery has been sucking. I just noticed that, where I work (which makes me login to their Wi-Fi each day) isn
I just factory reset my phone yesterday, and I reinstalled most of the applications that I had before. Check out these weird battery stats...
The battery life goes up without charging? The phone shuts itself off, is turned back on, and suddenly has over 12% less battery life???
So, I've been having trouble with my phone's battery the past few days (ever since it's been ghost calling the *22899 number and updating my PRL).
Anyway, I just got home, turned on my screen. I went into a menu to see something and the phone did this... (What is this?)
What is this...
I have noticed that the battery in my Galaxy Nexus has been dying a lot faster than it had been three days ago. :(
I had a great battery-life with JuiceDefender Ultimate (hovering around x2.00). :)
My phone had been randomly shutting down (and it has been happening more lately).
