Beme launched in the Play Store back in May of last year, and was acquired by CNN toward the end of November. It isn't known if CNN will relaunch this application with a different brand, but it doesn't seem likely.
Released in 2015 by famous YouTuber Casey Neistat, Beme has been acquired by CNN and will be shut down at a later point in time. Neistat and his employees will continue to work together at CNN on a new unannounced project.
