Just days after Amazon stated that it would be removing encryption in Fire OS 5, Amazon has reversed course and announced an update would be rolled out in the Spring which would allow for devices to be encrypted once again.

Today though, Amazon has made a surprising mode and has removed the encryption feature from its Fire OS 5 operating system.
