AT&T has announced tha its GoPhone customers will now receive an extra 1GB of data every month without spending any extra cash. The company is also keeping its $5 monthly discount for those who sign up to pay their pre-paid service automatically each month.
Kellen from Droid Life says he has sources who are telling him that GoPhone is about to increase the data allotment of their pre-paid plans without increasing the prices.
If true, this change will go into effect on May 25th where the $45 plan gets 3GB of data and the $60 plan gets 5GB of data.
The latest pre-paid smartphone to join GoPhone's arsenal is the LG Phoenix 2. The device costs $99.99 and ship with Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
They aren't telling anyone what kind of specs are inside the LG Phoenix 2, but they did say it will be available for purchase on May 14th.
