Google just dropped a new developer preview on us, only this time it’s not for phones. Instead, their rebranded wearables platform, Wear OS, is getting updated to Android P. For now, Google is only making this first Android P Wear OS preview available to the Huawei Watch 2 and Huawei Watch 2 Classic
For what’s likely a limited time, you can save $60 on a Huawei Watch 2, with the price down to $239. For the Watch 2 Classic, the classier of the two smartwatches, the price is listed at just $267, a savings of $102.
Amazon has currently discounted both the Huawei Watch 2 Sport and Watch 2 Classic. The Watch 2 Sport is now available for $181.91 and the Watch 2 Classic is now $286.75.
The Huawei Watch 2 Classic is now available in the US for $369. It features a 1.2" AMOLED display, 420mAh battery, 4GB of storage, 768MB of RAM, and a host of other features like a heart rate monitor and NFC.
Android Central went hands-on with the Huawei Watch 2 Classic at MWC this year and they feel it is still big, and bulky, and undeniably not for everyone.
