Yesterday, Carl Pei talked up the decision to add a notch to the OnePlus 6. He even tweeted "Learn to love the notch" with a link to his interview with The Verge. Now that tweet is gone, deleted. Pei's timeline doesn't mention even a peep about a notch.
OnePlus was at least seriously considering adding a notch to the OnePlus 6, and the company itself has now confirmed it. Carl Pei, OnePlus's cofounder, spoke with The Verge to explain why the decision was made to add one.
When the new version of OxygenOS was released for the Oneplus 5 and 5T, it was discovered that the OnePlus 6 could carry a codename of "Enchilada". Additionally, there is a screenshot which seemingly confirms that the OnePlus 6 will include a notch.

A new report suggests OnePlus is planning to launch the OnePlus 6 as early as March of 2018. The launch is said to be sometime in the middle of March, with the phone becoming available by the end of the month. It will supposedly have an under-glass fingerprint sensor.
The OnePlus 5T will supposedly be released in November with a 6-inch display and 18:9 aspect ratio. This comes after previous speculation that OnePlus would skip the 5T and go straight for a launch of the OnePlus 6 in early 2018.
