Saygus has been trying to sell a smartphone since 2014. The company took pre-orders for a device that would have had the Snapdragon 801 SoC, had previously said they'll be upgrading those pre-orders to the 820, but now say they'll all be upgraded to the Snapdragon 835.
The last ETA for shipping that we were told by Saygus about the V2 was the end of Q1.
March 31st was yesterday and today we've learned that they have yet to do any final software testing, it's not certified by the FCC and they're still working on the circuit boards.
The Saygus V2 has had quite a lot of difficulty getting manufactured and pushed out the door. After multiple delays, the company announces in a tweet today that they plan on shipping the V2 to customers in the first quarter of this year.
