Microsoft is shutting down Sunrise Calendar once and for all. The company today confirmed that account shutdowns will happen starting tomorrow, after which you won't have access to Sunrise. That said, your calendars will remain available on the platforms you synced Sunrise to.
Microsoft marked the end of Sunrise Calendar on August 31st back when it purchased the app from its original developers. Many fans of the app were upset, because features that are found in Sunrise haven't been integrated into Outlook as promised.
