Google is now rolling out their app security solution Play Protect. It aims to bring Verify Apps to the foreground in the Play Store and make sure that all users are aware that their device's security is being monitored.

Google has a number of security measures in place to keep your Android device safe from malware (assuming you haven't disabled them). In a new blog post today, they talk about these “Potentially Harmful Applications,” or PHAs, and then cover a number of ways they are protecting you from them.

Google has confirmed that its 'Verify Apps' security feature which is included on all devices with Google Play Services and running on Android 4.2 or higher may be protected from malicious apps which may ty to exploit the QuadRooter vulnerabilities found in devices running on Qualcomm processors.
