Xiaomi has announced the Mi 5c which will be the first smartphone to feature the company's own Surge S1 processor. The device will also feature the following:
- 5.15-inch display
- Surge S1 processor
- 3GB RAM
- 64GB storage
- 12MP rear camera
- 2,860mAh battery
A new report from The Wall Street Journal suggests that Xiaomi will release its own line of processors to go by the name Pinecone. The new chipset may be featured in its upcoming handset, the Xiaomi Mi 5c.
The spec sheet for the Xiaomi Mi 5c was leaked and the device features a 5.5-inch display, 2.2GHz octa-core processor, 3GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, 12MP rear-facing camera, and will be priced at $144. It was also revealed the device will be unveiled on November 20th.
A new rumor out of China claims to know the price of the unreleased Xiaomi Mi 5c smartphone. If true, we're looking at a price at CNY 999 (which is about $144/€136). Rumors say it will have the Helio P20 SoC, 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
