ZTE has cancelled the Kickstarter for Hawkeye, their crowdfunded phone that was to come with eye-tracking cameras and self-adhesive material. The campaign only earned $36,000 out of its goal of $500,000.
ZTE recently asked for half a million dollars to crowdfund the Hawkeye smartphone and they haven't been able to get as many people funding the project as they had hoped. So they're reaching out to the community to ask what they feel should be improved on the device.
We heard some rumors about the ZTE Blade V8 Pro earlier this week and now the device has been made official. The company also announced the ZTE Hawkeye, which is the name of the crowd-sourced phone they were working on throughout 2016.
