I'm so frustrated. I bought my two boys their own Kindle Fire last Christmas. I rooted them not long after to install Android Market and give them access to my apps that I had bought from there. I really hadn't touched them since that time. Now I want to install Jellybean on them and I find out that although I ONCE had root with Burrito Root, I no longer do? WHAT?
No problem right? I'm a pretty smart guy. I know my way around the Android community and it's not my first rodeo. I mean I've rooted multiple devices and flashed countless ROMS.
After researching I found there is an "easy" method for re-establishing root it's now the bain of my existence. I have SDK installed, I have Java Tools installed. My boys Kindle Fire's are found by my laptop.
Here is what I get once I click "run" on the utility:
No matter how many times I uninstall the drivers/re-install the drivers this is what I get.
I've read countless threads on XDA. I'm in so far over my head there that I don't know which side is up. If you can help me re-establish root I would be forever greatful.
