2.1 update for Galaxy Spica?

Lurker
I heard that 2.1 is available on Galaxy Spica but I have no clue how to update. I am currently under Rogers service in Canada. Thanks to who answers in advance.

P.S. If there is double post I am sorry, I couldn't find one that answers my question.

Well your phone should automatically scan for the update wirelessly (Can take up to 14 days for it to scan). For this you have to be connected to either 3G or Wi-Fi. The update has been released for a while now so.....? maybe it hasn't hit Canada yet?

I've rooted my Spica (also on Rogers) because they kept pushing back the date they were going to release 2.1. Rogers is certainly taking their time and I haven't managed to figure out if they've officially released it or not yet.

It is (sadly) out for just about everyone else though.

Maybe one of the others who've been lobbying for faster updates will see this and give a better answer.

Sorry....
All I know is that Galaxy Spica has been updated in all of Europe & Asia. I have a Hero and I know what it's like to have an update pushed back, and back, and back, And back. All I can say is that I'm sure the update will come sooner than the Hero's. Just a heads up to not get excited but, Any phones with screen sizes less than 3.7 inch, don't get live wallpapers with the 2.1 update.... Sorry.
