2.3.4 upgrade

Hi updated to 2.3.4 no problems , however LGMobile update tells me there is a update , SOOOO i try to update (ALREADY UPDATED TO 2.3.4 AND FIRMWARE 20E) After going thru its update , says update not for this phone and to contact LG Home......

Anyone else experiencing this error , try many times and phone says 20E and Android 2.3.4.

In HK we got the 2.3.4 update a few days ago.

I was waiting for it for so long hoping that it would fix the battery life and performance issues, boy was I wrong!

After the LG update I would be lucky to get 6 hours battery life off the phone whereas I got at least 12 hours pre-update with the same usage patterns.

Also I find that the phone is less responsive and takes longer to load some apps.

Overall I am pretty disappointed with LG on this and will never buy another smartphone from them (I also bought a Optimus black for my father which has the performance issues as well).

Definitely look into the custom ROM if you are still waiting for the LG 2.3.4 update. That's where I'm going.
