2 Brief Questions

1. What is Data Saver ? I have seen a few posts and it says to make sure it is off. Why is that necessary and where do I find it ? Should everyone do it ?

2. I got this phone 18 months ago and I got a new phone number with it. Bill collectors are STILL calling me looking for the last owner. Even when I identify myself and tell them I am not a Hispanic female, they still call me back a month later.

I am also on the Do Not Call List and I keep getting robocalls from companies wanting me to use their services to send money overseas (Latin America). And another guy keeps calling about some kind of lotto or gambling thing....

I have a Mr Number app on my phone that is suppose to drop them immediately but some of the robocalls from bill collectors still get through.

Where do I go on the phone that lists all the phone calls I have received ? I thought there was a list somewhere but I can't find it. The bill collector does not even show up on Mr. Number. Those guys are good.

I want to file a complaint and list all the dates and times that they have called but I can't find the window that lists all the incoming calls. I thought there was one....or am I wrong ?

If you are getting calls from companies you do not want the best way (and federal law) is to tell them all communication must be done in writing.

as far as the call log just click your phone icon and you should see recents and this will give you a list of all the incoming and outgoing calls.

I don't know the address of all the companies.......they are looking for the previous owner. Lots of times , I can't even reply, I get a message and then they hang up.....robocalls.

Yesterday I got one saying if I don't reply immediately my account ( the other owner) would be sent to special collections.
I spoke to someone about a month ago and they said there was a warrant out for her arrest.
This woman (the previous owner) is aggravating.

I checked the incoming call list, but the guy that called yesterday is not on the list.....grr.........those bill collectors are good.

And if I do get a real person and not a robocall, I explain to them I am not a Hispanic female. Generally, they are courteous enough and they tell me they will eliminate my number from their list. But then their collections department sells the bad debt to someone else and it starts all over.

It's irritating.

Oh yeah. Another thing those bill collectors do.........when you miss a call, you get a message on your phone. Generally, you tap to open or swipe to get rid of it. Some of those bill collectors won't allow you to swipe it clean unless you return their call. Even if you cut the phone off and back on, it returns and won't go away.

They are a nuisance.
