Google has also opted to pull the Android 5.0.1 image for the Nexus 7.

Anyone know if there was a major issue with 5.0.1?

5.0.1 apparently was futzing up a fair number of units so was pulled and the Android guys ran around stomping on bugs for a while.

Sweet I can't wait to get my new motherboard & try out 5.0.2 on the trusty old N7

Wow, my 2012 is still running fine on 5.0.

This is good news, because 5.0 OTA thoroughly futzed my N7. It's much better since FDR, but still lots more lag than 4.4.4. Even the 5.0 boot animation stutters! I really haven't used my tablet since the "upgrade" except to turn it on long enough to see if another update was available.

I uploaded it yesterday and really thought I bricked my Nexus.. But after an hour of trying to get it to work it finally installed.. Seems to have fixed the issues I was having.... Facebook closing and Chrome lagging/closing.... I happy now .

The 5.0.2 OTA update appears to be rolling out. I got it last night.
