Windows 8.1 is not recognizing my Ace S5380 when I put the phone in downloading mode to upgrade Android 2.2.1 to GB 2.3.4. I am trying to upgrade the system through Kies, but once unplug the USB cable and restart the phone in downloading mode, Windows 8.1 says the device is not recognized. It thus does not accept the phone and Kies cannot upgrade the system.
My Skype isn't working on Android 2.2.1 and I just saw on skype.com that the minimum requirement for Skype on Adroid is 2.3.
Any help would be highly appreciable.
