Help Add contact birthdays to Calendar

Kenjutsu

Lurker
I got a LG G3 Beat to which I transferred all the contacts from my previous phone. For most of the contacts there is a "Birthday" field. When I checked the Calendar on the G3, these birthdays do not show up. How do I now add these "Birthday" fields from my Contact list to the Calendar? o_O

Under Settings -> Calendars to sync -> Phone, it shows no calendars . Under my google account, all the calendars are selected..

I was able to find a solution.

1) Using LG PC Suite, I was able to export my contact list (on the phone) as a CSV file to my PC.
2) I removed all the entries in the CSV file without a Birthday field/column.
3) I removed all the columns except for the Name and Birthday.
4) I downloaded the Google Calendar Birthdays.xls file from this link: https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/calendar/ed4oA3HE9RY
5) I replace the entries in this file with my own entries and ran the macro
6) I then used the Import feature of Google Calendar to import the entries into my Google account, which then synced with my phone

So, thank you to tpuiatti in the link provided in step 4 above :D
