Root Adreno 200 mod working?

I was messing around, and found a adreno 200 disable cpu rendering or something like that, and followed it, to my surprise, it didn't boot loop. I thought it only worked on adreno 200, but the specs on phonearena said it was a 305 on the tribute. maybe i didn't do it right? Here is what i did, I deleted the lib file under system, lib, egl, and put a comment in front of that "00 android" line. So far, no ill effects, (of course, i could be wrong, and in that case, i apologize.)


(I guess its not just me, i ran a benchmark before and after. before: around 15000, after, it gave me a 18662.)

If someone could take a look at this, its a little beyond me, we might be able to get this working for our device.

So can you post a link to the Adreno mod?
Only thing I found is for the Samsung S3 on XDA and it's for Android 4.2

I am sure you already know this, but I would make a nandroid backup. While not likely, the possibility for trouble with this still exist. Oh yeah, and i manually did this mod, with root browser.
