After 4.2.1 cant pair PS3 controller anymore

before 4.2.1 all that was required was to plug the PS3 controller into the usb port on the keyboard and it would pair with my tablet. After that I just had to push the PS button and I would be good to go. After the update I can no longer do this. I have tried searching for it on bluetooth devices and everything I can think to do. I understand there is a program to pair it but my tablet has to be rooted (it is not currently). I do not think I am knowledgeable enough to do this. Am I messing something up or did the update break the ability to pair?

4.2.1 breaks the ability to pair a ps3 controller but 4.2.2 fixes it. You can always revert back to 4.1.1. Let me get the link.

Yeah, it was a well known fact that 4.2.1 broke bluetooth, which makes it upsetting that Asus choose that over a 4.2.2 for the update.

Thanks for the quick reply guys... That sucks that bluetooth is broken like that! Is this something that is expected to be fixed soon? I like some of the updates but I like my PS3 controller better!

If Asus ever releases a 4.2.2 update for it, that will fix it. They could also hypothetically release their own update that fixes it as well. Even so, there's no timetable for those potential updates.

Here, sorry I havent been through this post lately, but here is a downgrade process. And it should not happen, but if it happens to wipe your device, make sure you backup everything.4.1.1 is still on the ASUS site.
