Help Alarm is barely audible, Volume set High

So my alarm vibrate is louder than the actual audio of the alarm. I go to Settings >> Sound & notification >> Volumes. Everything is maxed out, when I adjust my alarm sound I hear it, loud and clear. When it goes off... It is very soft. What am I missing here?

I should mention that the countdown timer sound does not seem to be affected.

You could try clearing cache/data for your alarm app and this will return the app to its defaults.Then set the alarm for a short time to see if that fixes the alarm sound.

Try Timely See if it has the same problem. If you expereince the same issue after clearing the data; and also after testing Timely let us know

With the latest update my alarm now rings low to start and increases every three cycles until it reaches its full intensity. Not ideal but not unacceptable. I'm sure there's an app to take care of it if it doesn't work for you. Might also try a different ringtone with an increased volume to start.

Cleared cache and data and still got the same thing :-(

You can uninstall the update to get back "alarm at the loudest volume" feature. LOL
