Android 2.3 Gingerbread

Sam*censored doesn't support Galaxy i7500 anymore. The last official release of Android was 1.6 and in some parts of the world.

But Drakaz is trying to port it to Galaxy, but just for fun to see if its daily usable. We already have almost perfect Froyo port it. And in the end "if" and "when" we get Gingerbread is still in the dark. Bukington is workin on a new kernel (2.6.35) for Galaxy and that will also take some time.
So patience is a virtue in this case.

P.S: Froyo port is named GAOSP Beta 3 (or GAOSP-2-Beta-3)
 
Yep, but the release will take a while.
First there is going to be nightly releases and when that happens you/we will be informed.
