Hi Brought a LG Optimus 2X P990 Has the Android 2.2 (Froyo) OS
Can someone please explain to me how i get the Android 2.3 update????

LG hasn't released it yet, they're taking their sweet time.

It'll eventually come, but you might want to look into cm7 or topogigi's gingerbread rom which performs very well.

O2x is slightly different to G2x, so that firmware won't work. Like Brezzo said, LG haven't released Gingerbread for O2x yet...they are pretty bloody slow! Best bet is to keep checking google or here as I'm sure as soon as somebody gets it they will let the rest of us know...

Spoke to LG (Gee their service is shit) and dispite it being released world wide on Nov 1 , LG Australia is unsure if it is ever to be released Here......

Ok my question is if i go to the European LG site can i use their update 2.3 for my phone as i don't want to use a "rom"??????
