According to T-Mobile, that 5.1 OTA should start rolling out today:
Beginning March 9, the Google Nexus 4 received a software update to Android version 5.1 / LMY47D available via Over-the-Air (OTA) pull down over Wi-Fi only. This update will be available over cellular network at a later date and provides features and improvements

Nothing here but sadness and disappointment.

Okay, I lied. Just switched back to using 5.0.1 on my N4 from a 4.4-based phone I've been testing. Oh how I've missed Lollipop.

Verily, even the "old" L build is much nicer to use than KitKat.
 
No 5.1 occam's on the factory images page. I was kinda looking forward to keeping the N4 and the N6 in sync just to see how the performance varies.

btw, I'm still waiting on images for "occam" and "razor". I find that amusing - but still quite sad.

And I just realized....I no longer have the SDK on my laptop after having to reinstall Windows.

Nor do I have the time right now to download it, fix my drivers, and run ADB......I guess I'll wait for the OTA like a pleb.
 
As expected, being rooted with TWRP is a problem. I tried using stock recovery but that failed too, so I just flashed it back to stock 5.0.1 from the factory image and then applied the OTA.

Damnit! Today is tax day and then I'm leaving tonight to go camping all weekend. No flash for me until Monday at the earliest. :(
 
I always tell myself I'll just wait for the OTA.

Guess I don't know myself that well yet. My camping trip got delayed(possibly cancelled) due to a combination of snow AND forest fires(weird), so I'm at my parents' house waiting for my apps to optimize post flash :)
