Help Android Amazon Kindle app problem

Lurker
This has happened to both my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 and Galaxy Player 4.2. The Amazon Kindle android app doesn't seem to recognize some of the ebooks in my Kindle library. When I email a personal document to my Kindle Library, the document doesn't show up on my Galaxy device, but it does on my iPod Touch. On my Galaxy device, I have to de-register and re-register my device before the document will show up. This is a pain because after de-registering and re-registering, I have to re-download all my ebooks from my Kindle library to my Galaxy device. Has anyone experienced this? Has anyone experienced this on non-Samsung Galaxy android devices?

Just some thoughts: Next time it happens shut the unit down completely and start up and see if it shows.

Many android units have to be rebooted to get new material to show if you transfer to the sd card in a reader. Have had it happen with downloads as well.

I've noticed on my 4.2 there is an sd utility that reads the card when rebooted, yours might not be running properly or if you have a large card you might not wait the 20 or so seconds it takes to read the card. Normally there is a notice in the top bar that it is running.

Going in library on the Kindle app and using the Sync option (a few times) on the menu might help.
