Android watch for the LG Volt?

can't use phones at work, but a "watch" is ok.

Anyone find one that works well with the Volt and gives many options?

My Pebble works quite nicely. Have some trouble when trying to play music over BT with it connected (music stutters when the watch is communicating), but I blame the phone for that more than the watch. Plan on getting the new Pebble Time at some point... Probably Christmas gift to myself. :p

I found these 2 on ebay, one is cheaper [ $20-30 ] but not a big fan of traditional watches. Might find cheaper if I searched more or went direct from china, were not allowed phones at work on the floor but the apple watches for "fitness" are ok to have. AKA everyone has their phone in a pocket, just never pulls it out. Like a loop hole as you can't track fitness if its half mile away in a metal locker turned off.

Those both look like crap knock offs, especially considering the price. Avoid anything from China, it will be either shite, or totally not as advertised.

The basic Pebble is $100 (expect price to drop in the near future), supports Android Wear notifications, and will be getting updated to the same software as the Pebble Time, just with no color or microphone. It has a 7 day battery life and thousands of apps available. You can also easily make custom watch faces with the Canvas app.
Oh yeah, it's completely water proof and the screen is an always on epaper display for excellent readability. The basic Pebble face is hardened plastic, but it holds up well. Mine only has a few scratches after over a year, and there are screen protectors you can get (both sticker and liquid). The Steel and Time have gorrilla glass faces.

Here's a couple pictures of mine with a simple custom face. The one with flash shows all the scratches, as compared to the one with no flash.
The backlight is not on in either picture.

Yup, many things are made in China, both shite and shinola.

Believe me, you don't want to be using a $30 cheapo smart-watch....been there...done that....you will be disappoint! :thumbsupdroid:
