Help Android Wear Wi-Fi

Hey everyone,
Got the Android Wear update last night on my Nexus 6 that shows wi-fi option. I assume I still have to wait till the Moto 360 update comes along to fully enable it?

I'm confused to how it will come together. Any insight is appreciated. I'm new to this whole AW and watch thing.

Thanks!!

I just updated my android wear APP to 1.1 and it works just fine. Except the wifi. It seems that even after i activate my google sync feature my swatch still doesn't use its wifi.If I turn my phones Bluetooth, the watch unapairs.

Did i do something wrong with the pairing? Is there a way to fix it?

Please help!

Thanks!

1) I merged your two threads since they're essentially dealing with the same thing. Hopefully that way it's easier to help each other :D

2) There are two components to the update, as I understand it: an OTA for the watch, plus the Wear app update. So while the Wear app update might enable Wifi, it's not going to do any good until the watch also gets the OS update to enable Wifi.

I *think* the OS update is 5.1.1.

Also make sure your device can support Wifi. I have read contradiciting messages about the LG G Watch R. There is a Wifi chip inside, no discussion about that, but some say it doesn't have an antenna, some say it does.....
