Any drawback to getting 16 gb vs 32 gb?

I am aware that we can drop a 64 gigabyte microsd card into the note, but I was wondering if there is any performance loss with relying more on microsd memory vs internal.

Is the microsd slower? Can the note use the microsd for applications or the OS or is the microsd only used or pics/movies/media/files?

Using a microSD card does not make your phone slower. Technology had developed so quickly that the amount of time it takes to transfer stuff is now miniscule.

You may store any type of file you want on your SD card, and many apps will also allow you to move it to the SD card. However, not all will do this.

On my photon, I've had issues with random reboots, as well as reboot loops, due to moving apps to sd, so i just stop doing it all together. I have 205 apps installed from the playstore with 3gb partitioned for apps only. Never have had memory issues. Never have had reboot issues ever since.

Hmmm interesting. Thanks for the info - I think I'll get the 32 gb just in case. Or maybe 64 since I plan to keep this phone for quite some time!!

That should be fine. Unless you plan to be installing a lot of apps, I don't see how you could run out of space even with a 32GB phone. You could just have all your music on the SD card.

The only reason I have my apps on my SD card is because I only have 812mb of on-board memory. :p
