any idea how to take a screenshot

I have a temporary phone - Galaxy Chat

I want to take a screenshot ..

I've googled .. and it's conflicting instructions ..
home and power ..
volume down and power ..
back and power ..

I have tried all sorts of combinations .. to no avail ..

activity in Galaxy Chat is dead .. so I am asking here ..

someone there did mention that they did get a screenshot in unrelated on "how to" thread:

Screenshot doesn't show any timestamp, it just says "Failed"

HOME + POWER should work for all recent Samsung handsets. They need to be held for a second or so iirc.

It turns off the screen.. As if though power button alone was pressed...

Hmmm gonna call Samsung support.. in USA what's best # to dial?
